Our school operating hour is: Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm (Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays).

TKGS, Truly !

TKGS is in the midst of setting up a heritage portal and would like to appeal to all who have an interesting story to tell, a memory to relate and artefacts and photos to share to contribute to this portal. This portal will be launched at the dinner and will serve to build an online TKGS community. With the portal, present and future TKGians will find it a lot easier to learn about TKGS ethos and continue to build on TKGS history. We will be in touch with more details about this portal soon. While the portal is being set up we would like you to contribute to the TKGS Truly portal.

You may share your memories (as current- or ex- TKGians) of life at TKGS (either at the old or new campus). They can be anecdotes, poems, reflections etc. which highlight what you cherished as a member of the TKGS family.

National Day Awards 2012
Four TKGS teachers were honored at the National Day Awards 2012 Ceremony held earlier this year. Well done, teachers!

The Commendation Medal (Pingat Kepujian)
Instituted in 1996, the Commendation Medal may be awarded to any public officer who has distinguished himself through commendable performance and conduct, or significant eiifciency, competence and devotion to duty. Congratulations to Mdm Christine Sim Ai Ling for being a deserving recipient of the Commendation Medal.

The Long Service Award (Pingat Bakti Setia)
Instituted in 1962, the Long Service Medal is awarded to any person who is of irreproachable character and whom the President is satisfied has completed at least 25 years service in the service of the Government. We are proud to announce Miss Rokiahati bte Abdul Jali, Mdm Adela Chee and Miss Yeo Ling Seem as deserving recipients of the Long Service Award.

PERFORMING ARTS
TKGians have once again done the school proud with the girls from all five of our Performing Arts Group (Choir, Dance, Drama, String Ensemble & Symphonic Band) attaining the coveted Certificate of Distinction from this year's Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation! Indeed, this is a testament of what TKGians are capable of and what they can achieve in their pursuit for excellence. TKGS congratulates these girls on their achievements and celebrates together with them not just the awards attained, but also the journey that have brought them thus far; a journey of pursuance in their passion through hard work, determination, tenacity and a shared goal. Well done!

	2013 National Chinese News Production Competition A group of TKGians' news video is amongst the top 5 in Lower Secondary Category in the 2013 National Chinese News Production Competition. 	TKGS Debate Victory in Secondary School Debating Championship 2013 On 26 April, the TKGS Debate Team blazed a trail by winning the annual Secondary School Debating Championship. Organised annually by the Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning and the Debate Association of Singapore, the championship had 80 schools taking part this year. TKGS took part in Division 3, contesting among 35 schools.
	Student Leaders Investiture 2013 The inaugural TKGS Student Leaders Investiture was held on the 3 rd April 2013. A total of 200 student leaders, comprising the Class Committee Executive Board, Class Chairpersons and CCA Leaders were invested during the ceremony.
	Class of 2012- Showing at GCE ‘O’ Level Examinations The Class of 2012 not only maintained the percentage passes but also improved in the number of students attaining 6A1s-10A1s. While we look towards the Class of 2013 for even better performance, many of our students in the 2012 batch had done us proud by achieving all-round excellence in leadership, service and in pursuit of excellence in CCAs.
